Quote - Create Custom Quote

Quote - Create Custom Quote

There are two ways to produce quotes in printIQ:

Simplified, also known and Quick Quotes

‘Simplified’ is as it says, a very simple, straightforward process with very few options. This will be the main quoting method used by customers and Account Managers for ‘catalogue’ work.

Custom/Bespoke

‘Custom/Bespoke’ is a full quoting system that gives the estimator access to all the options contained within the printIQ database.
Custom or Bespoke quoting gives you access to all equipment, finishing processes and stocks entered into IQ. This is solely an estimators quoting tool as opposed to Simplified which is more locked down the the product you are quoting.

This will open up the 'Advanced Production Options' window:

For further training on this, see document: QUOTING - Custom - Advanced Production Options

You will see a description of the job along with the price:

The option to Publish or Not Publish your quote (see screenshot below) warns the customer won't be able to see the Not Published Quote.
Be aware that if you choose to Not Publish your quote no-one, (including the Quote Creator) without an Admin or Factory Admin User Role selected will be able to see the quote.

Below that you will see the breakdown of the component pricing. You can a variety of additional operations within this section of the screen:
