PRODUCT CATALOGUE – Edit a Product Catalogue Job
The options for editing a product catalogue
‘Job’ are limited as they are based on our ‘kit’ workflow.
You have the options:
Change Path
This lets you change the production path to any other path contained in the
original quote:

Edit From Quote
This lets you create a new version of the quote and link the existing job to
the versioned quote:
As an example, in this job we quoted:
Version A x6000
Version B x7000
We want to do an edit and change to:
Version A x5000
Version B x3000
Version C x2000
Version Quote
In ‘Edit Job’ click ‘Create New Version’:
Leave everything check as is and click
‘Version’:
The original quote is duplicate with the
same quote number with a ‘v2’ appended to it:

Edit Kit
Click the ‘pencil’ icon and select ‘Edit kit’:
From
here you can use the quantity field to alter existing quantities, zero out quantity on an
existing item to remove it or enter quantity into an additional item to add it to the
quote:
Update
the quantities as required and ‘Update’:
The versioned quote will update and reprice
with the new items and quantities:

At the bottom of the quote screen, click
‘Complete Order’:

This will take you back to the jobs ‘Edit
Job’ screen. You will see the new versioned quote available:

Select the ‘circle’ to link the new quote
and update the job:

You can select to apply additional charge
or not. Click ‘Confirm’ to continue:

Once the job is linked to the new quote, the ‘circle’ will display in green:

Go back into the ‘Job Details’:
The job is now update with the new specs:
