PRODUCT CATALOGUE – Product Range Items

Product Range items can be created and managed from the ‘Product Range Items’ screen:

 

From here you can search on existing items, edit existing and create new items:

To add a new item manually (this can be done here or at the time of creating a ‘Product Range’), click the + button:

A dropdown displays for the item configuration:

*printIQ will auto generate a SKU and UNIQUE ID when a new item is initiated. These can be overridden as required.

Enter the item details:
Name – A short name identifying the item
Description – A detailed description of the item
Artwork – attach a pdf file of the artwork
Thumbnail – a .png file will be generated on pdf upload. This can be replaced by another image if required
SKU – This is the SKU reference. This will be auto generated but is often manually changed to reflect the customer’s ID code for the item
UNIQUE ID – this is an auto generated ID for the artwork. This is used in workflow automation such as Esko
CONTAINED IN KITS – This allows you to link the item to an existing Product Range/Ranges
PMS NOTES – Enter the PMS colors required to produce the item if required

 

Once saved the item will show on the screen:

The search option can be used to narrow down what you see on screen:

Under the option ‘Product Range Item:

There are various ‘CSV’ based options:

You can:

Import – New items can be created via the CSV import

Export All – Export all Product Range Items in your system
Export () – Export only the items filtered to on screen

Example CSV content:


Template – Export a blank csv template that can be used to build and import new items
Help – A help menu on the csv columns:
