Items can be ordered internally or by customers via the ‘Create Order/Product Catalogue’ option:
*If any items are flagged for a specific
customer or customer group, via a customer login, only those with that access
will see their products.
*Any ‘Product Catalogue Items’ linked to a kit flagged as ‘Order via Custom
Quote’ will not be available to a ‘customer user’ to quote (as these require
access to custom quoting which is an internal user option only).

At the top of the screen are filters used to view the different types of products along with a ‘Search’ bar and an option to show/hide any inactive items:
At its most basic, it is another way to
order a simplified, custom quote or store item from the board against an
existing item.
For example you select a customer from the board:
Select an item type, filter and search if required to find the required item:
From the ‘eyeglass’ you have the below options:
Edit – Internally users can access and edit the item
Order on new quote – Add the item to a new quote via either a simplified (if allowed in the configuration) or via a custom quote.
Add to existing quote - Add the item to an existing quote via either a simplified (if allowed in the configuration) or via a custom quote.
View related quotes – This will open the
‘Quotes’ board filtered to quotes made for that item code.
View related jobs – This will open the
‘Orders’ board filtered to jobs made for that item code.
Specifications – Allows you generate a pdf spec sheet for the item.

Creating as a ‘Custom’:
Will open a quote and prompt you to select a custom quote template before you can continue:
Once you select a template, all the details linked to the products session will pull through:
This will include stock, operations, dies and processes. From here internal users can change the base setup to match the additional customer requirements.
If you select to open as a ‘Simplified’ product:
The modal will open in the SPC (Single Product Creation) format:
Additional items can then be added if required:
When creating a quote that has items linked to multiple ranges (in the case where there may be more than one production method for the items):
If a range has been setup to with the option checked ON for ‘Order via Custom Quote’:
*For example this option would be used where there are PMS colors involved and the quote requires an estimator the setup the layouts and any additional plates and press plate changes.
When the range is not flagged to ‘Order via Custom Quote’, you will only get the ‘Simplified’ option:
If the item exists in multiple ranges and some can be quoted custom and some simplified, you will get the option for both:
