PRODUCT CATALOGUE – Ordering from a product Catalogue

PRODUCT CATALOGUE – Ordering from a product Catalogue

Purpose

For common products and items that you sell to all customers or items that are customer specific, these can be created in many different formats.

They include:
- IQStore Items
- Product Range Items
- SPC (Single Product Creation) items
- Static Quantity Kits
- Variable Quantity kits

Items can be ordered internally or by customers via the ‘Create Order/Product Catalogue’ option:

*If any items are flagged for a specific customer or customer group, via a customer login, only those with that access will see their products.
*Any ‘Product Catalogue Items’ linked to a kit flagged as ‘Order via Custom Quote’ will not be available to a ‘customer user’ to quote (as these require access to custom quoting which is an internal user option only).

Or internally via the ‘Product Catalogue’ menu item:

Both options take you to the ‘Product Catalogue’ screen:

At the top of the screen are filters used to view the different types of products along with a ‘Search’ bar and an option to show/hide any inactive items:

At its most basic, it is another way to order a simplified, custom quote or store item from the board against an existing item.
For example you select a customer from the board:

Select an item type, filter and search if required to find the required item:

From the ‘eyeglass’ you have the below options:

You will only have to option to create a quote via the custom quote workflow: The option for ‘Simplified’ will be un-selectable:

*For example this option would be used where there are PMS colors involved and the quote requires an estimator the setup the layouts and any additional plates and press plate changes.

When the range is not flagged to ‘Order via Custom Quote’, you will only get the ‘Simplified’ option:

If the item exists in multiple ranges and some can be quoted custom and some simplified, you will get the option for both:
