Simplified Quoting View Options

Simplified Quoting View Options

For Simplified quoting, we now have three layout options available for you to choose from. These options are available for both internal and customer users. These options are:

Simple
Tabbed
Accordion

By default, all users will see the Simple mode. However, if you would like to change the default mode to Tabbed or Accordion view, let us know.

To control which view is displayed you can change this under your profile options.

From the menu bar, click on your username and choose ‘Update My Profile’.

The ‘Update My Profile’ modal will be displayed. From the ‘Simplified Layout’ dropdown, there are three options:

View 1: Simple

This layout is the original simplified layout which has each section of the product set out on a single page.

Once you have finished with your quote and you wish to check out, you are now taken to a new Order Details screen.  This screen replaces the current ‘Accept Quote Screen’.

You can get to this by either clicking on the ‘Checkout’ button at the bottom right of the screen in the simple display view.

Or by clicking on the on the shopping cart and clicking Checkout on any of the three views.

View 2: Tabbed

This layout allows multiple sections to be contained within a single window, using the tab as a navigation widget for switching between sections.

1.       Select Product

2.       Freight

3.       Reseller Options

4.       Quote Details

5.       Checkout

View 3: Accordion

This layout shows a vertically stacked list of sections. Each section can expand to reveal the content associated with the section.

1.       Select Product

2.       Freight

3.       Reseller Options

4.       Quote Details

5.       Checkout
