SIMPLIFIED CSV - Option 3 - Upload Kinds Pricing

SIMPLIFIED CSV - Option 3 - Upload Kinds Pricing

UPLOAD KINDS PRICING VIA CSV

In the following example, we need to upload pricing for catalogue items with multiple kinds.

NOTE: This option is best to use only when multiple 'sections' are required like on bookwork with a text and cover.

For single section work, the best option is:

SIMPLIFIED CSV - Option 4 - Flat Sheeting Pricing + Extras

In this example we have the Letterheads with pricing options for up to 20 kinds:

First, once the node is made, we upload a ‘csv’ file with all the product information but no pricing details at all.

The ‘csv’ looks like this:

Then you also need to create a separate ‘csv’ file for the kinds pricing. This will include the product code, price list and then the quantity breaks. Along each quantity break is where you enter the price for each kind combination.

In the example below, looking at the top line (1) you will see column ‘A’ is the code of LH001. Referencing the original spreadsheet above, LH001 is on LB100 (Laserbond 100gsm), CMYK one side at A4. Column ‘C’ references the pricelist. Column ‘D’ has the quantity break of 250. Column ‘E’ onward represents the number of kinds. Here, E’ is the price for 2 kinds, ‘F’ is the price for 3 kinds, ‘G’ is the price for 4 kinds and so forth.

We now go into ‘Factory Capabilities’ and upload the ‘csv’ into ‘Upload Factory Capabilities’.

Click ‘Choose File’:

Navigate to the ‘csv’ file with without the pricing included:

Now click the ‘Import’ button:

You will see a message stating the products have been read correctly. Now click ‘Create Products’:

You will see a message saying the products were successfully created. Now click ‘View Created Products’:

From the next screen, you need to ‘activate’ the products as at the moment they are in ‘Draft’ mode. To activate the products, click the top cleckbok and then ‘Activate Draft Products:

The products are now ‘Active’:

Once the product is uploaded, we need to upload the ‘kinds’ pricing. To do this go to ‘Pricing Admin’ under the ‘Admin’ heading:

From the ‘Pricing Admin’ screen, click ‘Kinds Pricing Upload’:

From here click ‘Choose File’:

Navigate to the ‘csv’ file with the kinds pricing:

Click the ‘Upload’ button:

The kinds pricing will show. Now click ‘Update’:

You will be asked to ‘Confirm Upload’:

You will get confirmation the upload was successful:

You can now quote kinds.
