Jobs Board - All Jobs Board Search Function
We have overhauled the All Jobs board to improve the loading performance and to make it better and faster to search for jobs. The end result is a more robust and efficient way of using the board.
As part of the change, you will see our new search function. The idea is to quickly search for commonly used information and then the advanced search allows you to search more, if you need it.
A key component of the new board is that it works off a data cache which ensures loading and searching is faster. We have also added a concept of ‘Recent’ jobs. This means that six months after the job is complete, it’s less likely to be viewed. With the addition of the Recent jobs
search, we can ensure that your job searches are faster.
Overall, some really subtle interface changes but a bionic overhaul under the hood. We hope you notice the difference!
Clicking the filter option will give you 3 options below
- Quick Search: Will search the following fields regardless of the age of the Job.
- Job Number
- Job Series
- Customer Reference
- Recent Jobs: Searches all fields within the jobs from a specified amount of days. By default, it is set to 180 days.
Contact our support team to change the number of days. - Search All: Will search through all fields within the jobs in printIQ.
Use Search all with caution, if you had a lot of jobs, it may take some time to load.
