The Site Selector on the All Jobs Board gives multi-site users the ability to filter and view jobs by site, and also gives the option to view jobs on All Sites:
This is also useful for single-site users in a multi-site company, as the All Jobs Board can be set so these users will only see sites and jobs that they have access to.
The setting ‘Limit all jobs board to users sites’ controls this functionality. It is found under Admin -> Application -> Customise -> Settings -> Production:
When this is set to ON, only sites that the user has access to will be shown on the All Jobs Board. For users with access to one site, the site selector will be hidden as it is not required.
When it is set to OFF, all sites will be selectable for all users. This setting is OFF by default. This is a global setting.
A default site can be set on the user details screen so the All Jobs Board will default to a particular site, in the same way it can on the Quotes screen:
This is controlled by the Default Site setting which is found on the User Details screens:
There is also a Customer filter on the All Jobs Board, where users can filter the jobs on the board by customer/s. This is a multi-select setting:
