Quote Questions

Setup

Within a quote, a question can be attached to a process, operation, advanced kinds quality set (Custom Quote only) and RFQ templates.

This is managed from Admin > Configure the Factory > (General) Quote Questions.

Manage

Once in the Manage Quote Questions screen, choose +Add to create a new quote question.

Enter in the question you want to ask and add.

Once added, you can now add details specific to question by clicking on the arrow down.

Answer Template ({0} is replaced with the answer value) – 0 can be used as a default value and updated when a value is entered.

Add New Question Item – Choose how you’d like the question to be answered. If, for example it’s only one answer from multiple options you would choose single select. If the answer was more than one, you would choose multi select. Once added this will be shown in Current Items.

Current Items

Current items can be updated or deactivated if no longer required. They can also be set as required, meaning they have to be answered before you can proceed with the quote.

Valid Answers

The only answers made available to choose from. These can be updated and deactivated when needed.

 

Process Mapping

Link the question to a process, for example One Spot Colour and add the process. Multiple process can be added.  

 

Finishing Mapping

Link the question to an operation, for example Wiro Bind. Multiple finishing can be added to the one question. Once added, these can be deactivated if no longer needed.

The quote question will appear on the quote like this.
