Managing Multiple and Partial Deliveries from a Job
When handling multiple or partial deliveries in the ‘Job Details’ screen click on the jobs ‘Dispatch’ tab followed by the green ‘Modify Freight Details’ box with the freight price on it:
Partial Delivery
Case: The customer ordered 1000 letterheads. They required a portion of the product shipped as a priority. In this case they want a quantity of 350 shipped now.
Once you have clicked on the green box you will get the freight model pop up where you can add your partial deliveries. Click the partial delivery icon:
Enter the quantity to be dispatched and click ‘Create partial delivery’:
This will now show as two different dispatch lines on your details screen with 2 different quantities.
These can be dispatched separately:
Case: The customer ordered 1000 letterheads. They now required x500 to their factory in location A and x500 to their branch office in location B.
Click the green button to edit the freight:
Click the ‘Edit this delivery’ pencil icon:
Change the quantity and ‘Update Delivery’:
The updated delivery will show on the bottom of the screen. The outstanding qty will display in the orange quantity box:
Clicking the orange quantity box will auto populate the ‘Delivery Quantity’ with the remaining quantity. Select the second delivery address and click ‘Add Delivery:
The screen will update to show the two deliveries:
The jobs ‘Dispatch’ tab will also update:
