Job details are
split into Operations and Items tabs.
The Items tab
depicts the current status of the inventory requisitions for the production
jobs and derives an overall job inventory status.
Selecting the Items
tab reveals the requisition list, grouped by section.
Job Inventory Status Derived from
the Section Inventory Statuses
The inventory
status of each section is shown to the right of the blue section name group
title.
In the example above, Section 1 shows as Partially
In Stock as the laminate is available to be picked.
Sections 2 & 3
are Out of Stock, as they have stocks that have 0 available and are not
currently on any active IPO.
Overall jobs' inventory
status is Partially In Stock.
If the laminate is
picked…
The status of
section 1 updates to changes to Out of Stock…
With all
requisitions now at ‘Out of stock’ the job items status is also updated to Out of
stock.
Because the three
requisitions are all for the same supplier they can all be selected and added
to the same Purchase Order on the Inventory Planning Board…
As sections 2 and 3
are for the same stock, they are consolidated into the same line on the IPO
while section 1 is a separate item…
Each item on the
IPO can be expanded to show details of the linked job requisitions…
After the IPO has
been sent to the supplier, the Inventory Planning Board reflects the update to
the requisitions.
The ‘Already
Ordered’ orange ‘i’ icon depicts the order number and status for that
requisition itself…
While the orange
Inventory Status icon summarizes the requisitions for the job…
After receiving the
cover stock, a number of actions are performed automatically.
The outstanding
stock on the IPO is placed onto a new backorder IPO while the received stock is
awaiting invoicing.
The inventory
status of the cover section in job details updated from Awaiting goods to
Partially picked reflecting the receipt of stock into inventory, while sections
2 and 3 are still Awaiting goods…
Purchase Order Tab in Job Details
The Purchase Orders tab in Job Details is split into two sub-tabs, one for Outsource Purchase Orders and one for Inventory Purchase Orders.
This example has no outsourced prders, but now shows '2' Inventory Purchase Orders.
Clicking on the Inventory tab opens the related inventory purchase order details relating to this job.
This shows 2 stocks were on the original order.
Only one stock was recieved in with the other being placed on backorder.
The backorder IPO000358-01 is still awaiting goods.
Back on the
Inventory Planning Board, the IPO has been dropped from the requisition for
section 1 as the stock has been received from the supplier and is available to
be picked.
Requisition for
sections 2 and 3 are now linked to the backorder generated after receipting in
the stock for Section 1.
The Ordered tool
tip for section 1 shows the original IPO this stock was received on which is
now at a status of Awaiting Invoice…
The same tool tip
for sections 2 and 3 now show the backordered IPO (“-1”) and is Awaiting goods
