How to View Quotes Board
The quotes board is accessed under the ‘Quotes’ header under ‘View Quotes’:
The ‘Quotes’ board displays all internal and customer generated quotes.
Board Filters
Customers
A customer record can be selected to display only quotes for the selected customer record:
Place your cursor over the ‘i’ icon next to the customer’s name to see a snapshot of the customer's details including their ‘last 5 quotes’.
These quotes can be accessed directly via a link on the quote number:
Search Option Bar
The option bar contains the following:
VIEW – This is set to display the ‘Last 50 quotes’ by default:
A dropdown list also contains access to other quick filter options such as ‘Previous Day, Week, Month’ etc:
ACCOUNT MANAGER – Allows filtering to specific customer assigned ‘Account Managers’:
MY QUOTES ONLY – Filter to quotes created by ‘you’ (the user account used to log in):
LOCKED QUOTES ONLY – Filter to display only quotes that have been set to ‘Locked’ so no alterations can be made:
FIND QUOTE – Enter a quote number to search on:
FILTER FUNNEL – Click the filter icon to open the ability to filter quotes based on their ‘status’:
TEXT SEARCH – Enter text to search on. This can be used to search test in the columns shown:
This is useful for searching on details such as a job title:
Note: Clear out the search by clicking the ‘x’ on the search bar:
CUSTOM COLUMNS – The board can be configured at a ‘user’ level to display the details you require. From the ‘Change column visibility’ button:
From the dropdown, you can configure what columns to add or hide from the board:
Wide Board View – There is an option to switch the view from the standard width view to a full-width view.
Ticking the ‘Wide Board View’ that will spread the columns out to utilise the full width of the screen
Note: The ‘Manage Default View’ option lets you ally the board setting for all users or ‘Restore to factory defaults' :
Quote "Magnifying Glass" Options
Each quote has an ‘Eyeglass’ icon net to it. Clicking this displays various options. These can change depending on the status of a quote.
In Process/Printed/Awaiting Acceptance:
Accepted
Rejected
Awaiting Approval
Date Selector
Quote Access
Clicking the quote number will open the ‘Quote Detail’ page where the quote can be edited, accepted, etc:
