Changing Schedule Categories and Production Icons

Production Board Order and Icon Customization

The Schedule Categories and Job Progress icons that show up throughout the system can be customized.

Schedule Categories and Job Progress Icons

The Schedule Category can be changed, and the icon can be switched out.  When changing these, the IQ build-lead must consider the caveats:

Warning

CAVEATS:
Movement of
Presses, Guillotines, and Catalogue Fold requires developer involvement.  (most folds can be moved by the client)

Movement of Presses and Plates may impact Enfocus Switch integration. Be sure to discuss this with IQ production flow experts before making these changes.

Renaming the Schedule Categories

The product categories are re-named by going to the Admin - Configuration menu:

This can be done by the client "Super User"

Once here go to the TERMINOLOGY under the General header:

There are 7 Production Schedule Categories (in the red square)
There are 6 Pre-Production Schedule Categories (in the blue square)

To edit a category name double click on it (ie. Additional Finishing - Located in Orange).

Lining up the Production Status

Whatever you change the Schedule Category to, you must change the Production Status to match.  If you move "BINDERY" from the Seventh Schedule Category, you must also move "Bindery" to the Seventh Production Status Category.

Warning
The following statuses should NOT be renamed:
Outsourced
On Hold
Cancelled
Finished Production
Complete
Awaiting Payment
Awaiting Artwork

Moving Operations to the Re-Named Schedule Category

Once you have the Schedule Category re-named you need to go into the operation and move it. It may have been mapped to "additional finishing" originally, but it is actually mapped to the Schedule Category Number, "additional finishing" is just a label. You will need to move it to the category that "additional finishing" moved to.  This can be done by the client "Super User"
To do this go into the operation, and under the categories - select the category you have created/moved:

This will move the operation to the correct schedule category on the Production Board:

Changing the Icons:

To change the icons you need to go into the settings. This can ONLY be done by the IQ Build Lead.
Go into the Settings menu under your user name:

From here type "ICONS" into the search menu, and you will see the result below:

Click on the word DigitalOffset in the Schedule Icon Type and pick an icon type.

Icon Types

The icon types currently available are:
Digital Offset
Digital Offset v2

Digital Offset v3
Digital Offset v4
Digital Offset v5
Digital Offset v6

A PDF is available below for you to share with your client to choose which icon they want.
If none of these suit there will be a small charge for creating a new one.

Request to Move Categories

Operations that cannot be moved by the Customer or IQ build include  Presses, Guillotines and the Fold Catalogue   (most folds can be moved by the client) . These require a developer to be involved.

Idea
When describing the request use the Schedule Category number from the Terminology screen:
i.e. Move the Guillotines from the Fourth Schedule Category to the Third Schedule Category and adjust the "hover over" accordingly

A Site in Build Mode

If the build has not gone live, create a task in the Zoho Build Project and assign it to Sean Jennings, who will then assign it to a developer.

A Live Site

If the build has gone live, create a SETUP REQUEST in the Issues and Releases project. Ensure the client has Care Package with SLA time for this to take place.
