If you only have one CHILI Document you’d like to link within printIQ, you may use the Single Product Creation screen. But as with the CSV upload, you must gather appropriate information before you start. And above all: ensure you can receive a price during a Custom Quote session based on your intended products configuration.

From the Admin file menu, go to Factory Capabilities

Choose Single Product Creation

Mandatory fields will be marked with a red asterisk.

You must designate your Site, create a Session Name and a Product Code, then choose a Product Category. If you don’t initially see your desired Product Category, just begin typing in the Search field.

The Description field, though not mandatory, is the text displayed next to your Product thumbnail when Users are Ordering.

As with CSV fields, or any Simplified session creation in printIQ, use the drop-downs (both Mandatory and Optional) to configure your product for ordering.

Just a reminder: ensure you can custom order your desired product’s configuration prior to building here. If your printIQ cannot price your product through a custom session, certain section properties or job operations may not be mapped or configured properly

These are optional fields based on your plants specific manufacturing capabilities.

Copy & paste your CHILI Document’s unique Item ID into the TemplateID field

You should only have one System Name selection, but reference your CHILI Environment name for the Environment Field

Configure other properties for artwork download, tick the box for Bypassing Artwork, and reference custom Workspaces, ViewPreferences or HTML5 editng

Remember to reference the same Wholesale Pricelists linked to the Retail Pricelist configured to your deisred Customer. Your Pricing Method will always be Fixed Quantities. Configure any other unique pricing controls.

Click the Edit Pricing Information button, and enter your desired, selectable quantities and corresponding price.

You may paste directly from Excel if desired. Kinds (1 or more) must be specified on each row, or changes will not take effect

Once you’re satisfied with your configuration, hit the Create Product button

You will be notified at the top of the screen if successful

If you’ve initially created the product via Single Session, the next time you’re required to Modify Existing Capabilities, you will be directed back to the Single Product Creation screen. Make your adjustments, then hit the Update Product button

You will be asked to replace if the product code already exists

You may create new or update session

Test order your product!
