Exporting Tracking Codes from printIQ to Xero

printIQ provides functionality to export tracking codes into Xero’s Reference fields, allowing you to pass key job and sales details directly to your Xero invoices.

Tracking Code Fields

There are two tracking code fields available for mapping reference details to Xero. These fields can include information from:
      Job Details Page
      Sales Item

Examples of commonly used fields:
      Quote Number
      Customer on Quote
      Default Contact on Customer in Quote
      References
      Any field linked to the Job Details or Sales Item can be configured as a tracking code.

Configuration Options

Tracking code fields can be set up in two ways:
Free-Type Fields - Users can add or edit values imported from printIQ before sending them to Xero.
Drop-Down Selectors - Pre-populated with approved values to ensure accuracy and prevent incorrect details from being exported. These fields are uneditable by users.

Setup Process

Currently, the contents of drop-down tracking code selectors must be configured by printIQ Support.
