Ability to accept a quote once only

Ability to accept a quote once only

The ability to accept a quote once only, is controlled by the setting ‘Quoting_Expire_Quote_On_Acceptance’.
It can be set at a global level, on a site level or at a customer level:
      • Global
o Go to Admin > Customise > Settings > Simplified > Checkout. The setting ‘Quoting_Expire_Quote_On_Acceptance’ can be found here.
      • Site Level
o Go to Admin > Customers > View Customers
Click on site code to open site details. On site details screen, scroll down to Settings and Quoting. The setting ‘Quoting_Expire_Quote_On_Acceptance’ can be found here.
      • Customer Level
o Go to Admin > Customers > View Customers
Click on customer code to open customer details. On the Customer Details screen, scroll down to Settings and Quoting. The setting ‘Quoting_Expire_Quote_On_Acceptance’ can be found here.

When this setting is active, once a quote has been accepted, the expiration date of the quote will adjust to the previous day. This causes the quote to instantly expire and it cannot be accepted again.

Before acceptance – The quote in the images below was created on November 8, 2022 and is valid for 3 months from creation date:

After Acceptance – The expiration date has changed to the previous day and the quote is locked down:

A user with permission to version the quote will have the ability to do so.
Users who do not have the ability to do will not see the version quote button on the Checkout screen and will need to generate a new quote to re-order items.
