IQstore Inventory Replenishment

IQstore Inventory Replenishment

This process outlines how you can link a production job to a sales order for replenishment purposes. This is used when you produce the item internally for ‘on demand’ orders.

Sales Items

With every ‘Sales Item’ you use the items SKU reference as the ‘Code’:

This in turn, generates an ‘Inventory Item’:

Against the inventory item is a field for ‘Replenishment Product Code’. This can be used as a reference for a SPC (Single Product Creation) item for creating the internal production job so the inventory quantity can be replenished:

Notes
This code can be added as part of the store item Import/Export

When you have a sales order for a product that you manufacture internally that you do not have enough stock for, you can create a production job to replenish the floor stock quantity:

Production Job - SPC (Single Product Creation) Item

These jobs can be used to create the production-based job to replenish the store items quantity so the orders can be picked and packed. Create a quote using an internal customer (setup a customer for internal production use).
Create a quote using the SKU reference to find the item and enter a replenishment quantity. This could be the quantity required to fulfil the outstanding order or a larger quantity, so you have excess in stock:

Set the quotes dispatch/shipping method to be ‘Inventory Transfer’:

Accept the quote to create the production job:

Inside the jobs ‘Dispatch’ tab, you need to link the inventory item and location:

Copy/Paste the item code and select the location:

Click 'Transfer' to replenish the sales items.

From the ‘Sales Orders’ board, ‘link’ the order to the production job by clicking the checkbox next to the order:

This will change the display bar showing additional options. Select the option ‘Assign Replenishment’:

The ‘Replenish Item’ modal will display. Enter the job number:

Info
Only job numbers that have the inventory transfer linked to the selected store item will display and be selectable in the ‘Job No’ field.

Once linked, the job number will display on the board under the column ‘Replenishment Orders’:

Inside the sales order, you will also see the link in blue. This will show the jobs status:

Clicking on the job number will open the production job. The job will be flagged with a reference to the store orders it is linked to:

Click the Replenishment Job icon to display a modal showing the linked store item/items:

Multiple items per order

A store order can contain multiple items. You can link multiple replenishment job orders to sales orders. Click the ‘Select All’ checkbox or multi-select the required orders:

This will change the display bar to show additional options. Select the option ‘Auto Assign Replenishment’:

The ‘Replenishment Items’ modal will display:

In the field ‘Base job’:

Enter the base number of the production job and click ‘Match’:

printIQ will automatically match the SKU on the item to the SKU on the production job:
