Store Items – Addition of ‘Due Dates’

Store Items – Addition of ‘Due Dates’

Store items now have due dates in the same way a quoted job does.

When ordering a ‘Store’ item, a dispatch date (or Due Dates as it is referred to once it is accepted) is set based on a default setting:
**This setting can only be changed by printIQ staff**

The ‘Dispatch’ dates when quoting will auto set based on that setting:

An optional ‘Requested Date’ can be entered for production reference. This is a requested date only and, if necessary, the actual Due Date will need to be updated manually from the IQ calculated date once the quote becomes a job:

* All dates can be set at an ORDER level only and not at an INDIVIDUAL item level
** The requested date field can be turned on or off via a setting. This setting can only be changed by printIQ staff

Once accepted, the Due Date show under ‘View Orders’ with the requested date visible via a hover over:

Order details shows due date and customer required date. These can be edited here to match once confirmed:

Sales Order board shows the ‘Due Date’.
Due Date is the date the item must leave the factory.
Dates shown in BLACK means there is no ‘Required Date’ entered by sales/customer.
A date in RED means there is an expected date entered against the order:

The requested date can again be viewed via a hover over:

Dispatch Board will show the date the order needs to leave the factory via a ‘Ship Date’:

Hover over the ‘Ship Date’ to see the ‘Expected Delivery’ date. This is calculated based on the due date plus the number of days linked to the freight component:

In this example we have a 2 day delivery time on the address. The Ship date is the 25th (Thursday). As we have weekend days excluded from the calculation, the 2 days makes the expected delivery to the customer on the 29th (Monday):
