If you are setting stocks up that are trimmed out of larger sheets (Pre-Trim), you need to
setup
the ‘cutting rules’ so that you are able to quote on smaller sheet sizes that are able to fit on the presses that you have in the system.
You will need to go into the 'Stock Sizes' screen.
Fill in the name in of the stock size and be sure to add 'Trim' at the end of the name. In this
example
we are creating a '450x320 trimmed stock size. Fill in the sheet width and depth. Make sure that you tick on the 'Is Cut Stock' checkbox.
Any stocks created with the ‘Is Cut Stock’ checkbox ticked will be available to select from within the ‘Stock Size Cutting Rules’ section.

Once you have created the stock sizes you will need to go into the ‘Stock Size Cutting Rules’ section you will see this screen.
Click on the ‘Target Stock Size’

, select the stock and you will get the options to choose the parent stock size, the guillotine it will trim the stock on, number of cuts and the number of sheets you get out of the trim.
From the ‘Parent Stock Size’

, select the sheet size that the ‘cut down’ sheet will be trimmed from:
Select which guillotine the stock would generally be cut on:
Now enter the number of cuts and how many sheets you will get out of a single sheet:
Click ‘Create and the stock will be added:
You can update or delete the item at any time.
