Stock - Stock Groups

This is where you stocks can be arranged into groupings making setup of products easier. All this is managed from Admin > Configure the Factory > Stock Groups.

First, at the bottom you need to add the ‘Stock Groups’ if they do not already exist.

Enter the group name and click ‘Add Stock Group’.

There is a checkbox to ‘Group in Stock Selector’:

Checking this ‘On’ will make the group show in the stock selector when doing ‘Custom’ quotes:

Now you can add stocks to the list that you want to add to the group you have created

You need to select options to narrow down the stock list. For this example for  ‘House Boards’ we want to search on boards 230gsm t  420gsm from BJ Ball.

Once the options are chosen, click ‘Add’ to view the stocks in the list.

Now scroll through the list and ‘tick’ the stocks you want to keep as your ‘House Stocks’.

Under the heading ‘Add/Remove Selected stock Mappings’ select ‘House Stock’. And click ‘Add’.

You will get a message that the mapping was successful.

At the bottom of the screen is a heading ‘Current Stock Mappings for the:’.

Here you can select a group and see what stocks have been mapped to it.

You can remove stocks from a mapping by selecting the group and ‘Remove’.
