Customer A wants to customise their stock names to fit their needs. They have a descriptive name they use internally but they want their customers to see the regular stock name.

Solution:

New “customer description” field created in Configure Factory > Stocks

** Internally we can disable and enable this functionality in settings.
Settings > Search > Show Stock Customer

Documentation:

The Description field (1.) at the top will now be overwritten by any text entered into the Customer description field (2.) will overwrite  which appears  above:

As seen below:

When the external customer logs in to the printIQ site and clicks one of the simplified sessions, the stock name will show the customer description text field entry.
