QUOTE - Minimum Sell Price

QUOTE - Minimum Sell Price

Introduction

A minimum sell price can be set against any manufactured product.

How it works

This is controlled inside the ‘Product Category’. These are accesses under:
Factory Capabilities – Manage Product Categories:

Only categories with a ‘Type’ of ‘ Filters’ or ‘ Products’ can have a minimum sell price applied:

The minimum sell price only applies to ‘manufactured’ products and does not override any ‘Store Item’ pricing.

The minimum sell price is exclusive of tax

Under the product category,
The field to set the minimum sell price is located under the ‘Pricing & Approval’ section.
In the below example we have set a minimum sell price of $120:

When quoting, the minimum sell price is honoured against any quantity that would normally price below the minimum:

Pricing can still be manually adjusted below the default minimum sell price via the pricing adjustment options:

Below we are applying a $50 discount to the 500 quantity:

Our sell price is now discounted from $120 to $70:

For a more detailed view of the pricing overrides, you can access the ‘View Pricing Details’ or ‘View Adjustments’ screens:

Via a hover on the ‘Sell’ price, a note indicates the calculated retail price falls below the set minimum sell price:
