MARGIN ADJUSTMENTS

 

When adjusting a margin for a job, a mark-up will automatically be added based on the pricelist attached to that customer. In this example, there is a 30% mark-up on the customer.

 


We have two options when applying a discount

 

  • $ value discount:


Here we are applying a $68 discount to the job.

 


 

  • % discount.


For this process we have to remove the existing mark-up and then apply a new % mark-up to the job:

 


We need to remove the existing 30% ($108) mark-up. This now brings our retail price the same as our wholesale.

 



I can now apply a 20% mark-up to the job.
