When quoting complex products that will be ordered multiple times, you can create one quote for the product.

This quote can then be locked, preventing it from being changed, printed, emailed, or accepted.

The locked quote can be either versioned or copied to provide a new quote to your customer.

The setting to control Locked Quotes (Contact Support to configure this setting)…

If no roles are selected, the Quote Locking feature is not available.

Against any unaccepted quote, in the dropdown you will see the ‘Lock’ option:

Locked quotes are denoted in the list with a padlock next to the quote number…

On the Quotes Board there is a filter – ‘Locked Quotes Only’, which will filter for any locked quotes.

When a locked quote is opened, to internal users it appears like any usual quote, except for a blue bar at the top of the quote advising that the quote is locked…

Locked quotes are not visible to Customer users.

All fields in the quote and quote products are locked down. 

You can view the details of the product but cannot edit it.
