Some quoted products are too complex to be created as a simplified product, for example if the product being ordered utilises advanced kinds or shapes.
When quoting complex products that will be ordered multiple times, you can create one quote for the product.
This quote can then be locked, preventing it from being changed, printed, emailed, or accepted.
The locked quote can be either versioned or copied to provide a new quote to your customer.

If no roles are selected, the Quote Locking feature is not available.
Against any unaccepted quote, in the dropdown you will see the ‘Lock’ option:
