IQstore All Customers Group

Create new Customer Group for all customers

Best practice when setting up IQstore items that you wish to be accessible to all customers, is to first create a customer group to contain all customers. Then apply access type ‘Group’ to your store products rather than using the access option ‘Anyone’, use this new group which includes all your customers. The advantage of this is that if an IQ Store customer only wishes to see their own products you can remove them from this group, they will now not be able to see any products except those specifically for them.

Navigate to Customers > Customer Groups

Select FACTORY from the drop-down (be aware that FACTORY has been renamed on some sites)

Click ‘+ Add Group’

Name the group ‘Sales Items for Everyone’ and set the type to ‘Select Group’ (where you will select the members)…

When the group is created, open it from the Groups drop-down selector.

There will be no members in the group.

On the right hand side, click ‘Select All’ to select all customers on the screen (max 100) and click the blue arrow to copy the selected customers to the group…

As you go, the right hand side list refreshes with customers not in the group.

Repeat the above step until ALL your customers are in that group.

You should now have a group that includes all your customers.  When creating store products, rather than using the access to ‘Anyone’ option use this new group. which includes all your customers. This gives more control; if a customer doesn’t wish to see all the store products you offer you can remove them from the group. Remember when you create a new customer to add them to this all customers group is you want them to access your store products.
