Create and Order a 'Material' or 'Misc Item'



You can create and order 'Materials' in IQ from the inventory screens 


From under the 'Inventory/Items' option: 

 


You will see a '+ Create New Item' option: 


   












TO CREATE A 'MISC ITEM' 
This is a miscellaneous item you order for use on on a regular basis.


In this example we want to create an item for press blankets. We select 'Misc Item': 



 


A 'New Misc Item' window will show: 







Enter the items details, the supplier and price as well as the location the items will be receipted into: 




Once you create the item, it will be available for you to view in the inventory screen: 





You can create a PO from the dropdown: 







**You can also create misc items for things such as maintenance and repairs and use this code to book against.
