Generate QUOTE only orders using CSV upload for Simplified and Custom

printIQ allows you the option of generating Quotes rather than jobs only via csv upload.

Summary 


  • Simplified CSV template now has a Quote Only column 

  • Custom CSV template now has a Quote Only Column


  • Available field options are yes/ true / 1 /y / t
  • Not specified/Empty column will generate a job (run as per usual).


Case scenario / When to use:
Company “A” has multiple quotes they need to generate urgently. Doing it manually will be time consuming.

Because this is a quote, they need their customer to confirm it first before jobs are created from those quotes.


How to generate quote only records:

  • Download the latest simplified/custom CSV template.
    Admin > Uploads > Simplified CSV import / Custom CSV import
  • The updated Simplified CSV template now has Quote Only column 
    Custom CSV template now has Quote Only Column
  • The column can be filled with: 
    yes
    true
    1
    y
    t
  • If the Quote Only column is not completed with on of the above options, your upload will run as per usual and automatically generate jobs.
