Factory Location Mapping

It is now possible to have multiple machines, presses, and guillotines of the same configuration in multiple locations. Instead of creating multiple machines with the same settings you can now create mapping names and map them to locations. For identification purposes names can only be used once per location. EG Press A can be in location 1 and 2 but can’t be added again to either.

Notes:
  1. Mappings can only be set when the location is set to Shared Equipment. To change to another location from shared equipment there must be no mappings.
  2. None has been renamed to shared equipment in the location dropdown.

The location control is no longer editable on the row and is now managed under the extra details modal as highlighted below.

When hovering over equipment under Shared Equipment, if the machine you’re hovering over has any mappings it will group them by location as well as giving you a comma separated list of the mapping names.

Factory Location on a job

You can now assign a factory location to a job. This can be done via the job details screen and the all jobs board. By default, the new setting “job edit factory location” has the planner role set so only people with that role can change the location.

Factory location details were also added to different markup templates.

When changing the factory location on a job it will re-calculate the production path the same as it does when editing a job(reprice etc). When selecting shared location it will look in the mappings table for what machines are available to use based off the component setup on the operation.

If the location does not have a machine that’s suitable for the job there is a setting to determine what happens.
  1. Option a: Change the production path to a different machine in the new location.
  2. Option b: bring up a modal to confirm the change.
  3. Option c: Don’t allow it to happen with an error.
