Edit a Dynamic Catalog Kit

Access points to edit a dynamic kit are found in various parts or printIQ.

Manage Kits

From the ‘Factory Capabilities’ screen, under ‘Manage Kits’


Kits can be searched and edited by clicking the ‘Edit’ icon

Any kit containing a item that has been deactivated will be flagged in RED

From the edit you can access all details, kit items and any pricing quantity breaks


Kits can also be exported to csv for edit and reimport




A quick and easy way to edit any part of a dynamic catalog is it initiate a quote.
With the user roles of ‘Admin’ or ‘Site Admin’ a user can access the ‘Edit Cogs’ when quoting.
At a kit level you can access – Edit Kit and Edit Product
At an item level you can access – Edit Dynamic Catalog Item



User role access can be expanded via the setting ‘Dynamic Catalog Roles’.
Contact support if you would like the roles changed

Edit Kit



This opens the wizard at the ‘Manage Kit’ section. Edits can be done and saved

This opens the wizard at the ‘Manage Product’ section. Edits can be done and saved

Opens access to the item’s configuration screen


Updating an item SKU

As artwork changes and a new SKU is introduced, you can replace a SKU linked to a catalog.
In this example, we want to remove the SKI for Gin Blue  (GINBLU01) with an updated SKU (GINBLU02)


Open the ‘Dynamic Catalog Items’ screen



Click the + button to make a new SKU


Enter the item details and update the SKU to the new number/name


Back in the kit, the new SKU will be available in the dropdown


Click the + to add the new SKU to the kit. It will default to the bottom of the list


Use the arrows to move the item into the correct position


Click the X next to the old SKU to remove it


Click ‘Modify & close’ to save the changes


When ordering the new SKU is available
