Generating Consignment Box and Carton Quantity Labels




There are a couple of methods for printing consignment labels for your boxes or cartons for dispatch. 

The box quantity on the main screen is very basic, it just does a simple division to calculate the number of items per box.



You tell IQ how many boxes and then you can print the carton labels from this screen:




This creates a pdf for printing with the required number of labels, sample below shows 2 of the 6 labels generated for this consignment. 

Labels clearly show the number of cartons but the ‘Carton Qty’ field is blank. 

With this option you would write the qty in manually once the labels are printed.




For more accurate labels, use the ‘Create Consignment’ option in the job dispatch screen.




Enter the number of required boxes and the qty per box based on the majority of the boxes. In this case there are 6 boxes and 5 of the 6 have x1000 in them:




This will generate the required number of labels at x1000 quantity and then the last box will make up the remainder of the quantity:
