Basic Estimator Role

If you are set up to be an Basic Estimator you will have the following experience:

This setup requires your company IQ Super User to work with their IQ Build Lead to setup

Admin Restrictions

You will be restricted from the deeper "admin" area:
Limited Admin Abilities

Ability to Create Quotes

You will be able to create quotes but have limited visibility to or ability to edit the guts of the quote (i.e. the grid):

Inability to Change Price Within the Quote

Although you can view the quote, you cannot change the WHOLESALE or RETAIL within the Quote:


Ability to Change the RETAIL (SELLING) Price in the Price Adjustment

Although you will not have the ability to target the price inside the quote, you can do a PRICE ADJUSTMENT after you PROCEED the quote. 
1) Once they proceed - click on the triangle beside the price to get the PRICE ADJUSTMENT option:

2) Click on the PRICING ADJUSTMENTS button to open the PRICE ADJUSTMENTS SCREEN

3) Adjust the Price by:
  1. Choosing the method - ie. Discount $; Markup $; Target Price; Target Markup %; GP Margin %
  2. Put in the amount
  3. Put in the reason
  4. Click Add
  5. You will be prompted to CONFIRM the adjustment:

4) You will then see the change to the estimate:
