A guide to configuring Stock Certification

A guide to configuring Stock Certification

Introduction

We have improved management of environmental certifications such as FSC, PEFC, etc. You can now setup multiple certifications, assign them to stocks, add logos, certification numbers and have

them displayed on your quotes, invoices, inventory purchase orders and box labels. The certification displayed will be the lowest qualifying product on your order. Contact our support team for an overview of what is involved.

We have a stock usage reports available that can be used to track estimated vs actual stock used on a job. It can also be used for compliance reporting related to environmental certifications.

With the Analytics Module we have report views are available are for writing reports based on Jobs, Waste, Waste Invoicing and Deliveries. This way you have the ability to create your own custom reports.

Below are some common user setup scenarios with our recommended approach for configuration.

1.       Setup certification details for FSC, FSC Mixed, FSC Recycled, PEFC etc.

2.       The Client will need to provide logos with certification details on them to your printIQ specialist to be added into the system.

3.       When creating the Stocks, tag the stocks with the certification type and % for that stock.

4.       At this time, you can also add the Suppliers COC details into the ‘Invoice Description’ field. This is so the Suppliers CoC can be added to the IPO and the Job Bag

5.       Adjust the templates to add the certification details and logos.  Currently this applies to

a.       Quotes

b.       Production Job Bag (via using Job Reference 1,2 or 3)

c.        Inventory Purchase Order

d.       Invoice

e.       Labels

6.       Current logic is that the markup template pulls the appropriate certification and logo and our customer’s FSC certification code and potentially trademark licence code.

7.       When there is a mixed certifications due to multi section jobs, it shows both certifications and where both are FSC, it will use the lowest %

Below is an example of these fields populated on the stock details.

Where you can set to show:

            What you cannot do:

Quote Letters

Production Job bag

Invoice Letters

Inventory Purchase Orders

Consignment Notes

Delivery Dockets

Box Labels

The logo is designed to be interchangeable based on the stock’s certification. Below are a couple of examples of the different certification types and percentages in use for the markup template letters.

Info
Logos can be added by the printIQ support team if required.
